My love for music, and the need to express my experiences are the driving force behind everything I'm starting to do right now. My mom is the driving force behind my music. I want others who have gone through similar things to know good things come out of bad situations. I, also, want to express what others feel they cannot. By reading my poetry/lyrics others will be able to relate to me, to others, and their own experiences unspoken.
I have learned that you should never let a day go by without telling the ones you love that you love them. You never know what can happen from one day to the next, and if you let a chance go by where you didn't express yourself, or remain silent, it's like keeping yourself in prison, or in the dark. It's good to be serious at times, but when you don't have to it's good to let yourself be yourself. There was a time when innocence was pure, and when nothing else mattered, but life, exploration, and the search for friends. By doing so there is less stress placed upon yourself. So, when I am acting silly, I'm just freeing myself of day to day life.
I'm also reminded of life, before it became complicated, with my 7 neices and nephews. They help to remind me that life can be simple. Having what you want all the time is never the answer. I see them learning, and it urges me to learn in the same way. I cherish the opportunity to learn from life, not just books/school.
